Architects pride themselves on providing the best possible
general architectural service within Derbyshire and the
surrounding counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire
and Staffordshire. Most of our projects tend to be "one-offs"
for private individuals, companies and institutions. We
are able to use our design and project management skills
in the conversion and refurbishment of existing buildings
more effectively due to the very wide range of projects
and building types in which we have become involved.
Current
conversion and refurbishment projects involve the creation
and alteration of homes, barn conversions for office and
domestic use, the renewal of retail accommodation, and
the conversion of a city centre bookstore into a visitor
centre for Derby Cathedral. Our work continues at the
World Heritage site at Cromford Mill for the Arkwright
Society with the repair and extension of building number
18. This involves major structural repairs to the remaining
historic building and the possible reconstruction of two
floors.
