Much
of our commercial work is referred to in other parts of
this website, as, in so many cases, conversion, conservation
or refurbishment have been involved. In this context, the
following are relevant;

of Derby Church House and St Michael’s House into
one building for offices for the Diocesen Board of Finance.
Conversion of city centre bookshop into visitor centre
and offices for Derby Cathedral Chapter and Enterprise
Board.
Conversion
of former butcher’s shop and adjacent chemist into
large retail outlet, with offices over, St John Street,
Ashbourne. Restoration and conversion of Cromford Mill
for the Arkwright Society Refurbishment of office building,
Friar Gate Derby, for Peak Trust Ltd.
Restoration
of timber framed building as retail outlet and coffee
shop for local bakery. Conversion of listed building into
city centre hairdressing salon, Derby. Conversion of former
cinema into an indoor market with nightclub above, Ashbourne.
Most
of these involved work to listed buildings. However our
industrial portfolio involves largely new buildings, including:

phase hatchery building for Dove Valley Farms Ltd, and
subsequently a large extension as second phase.
A large warehouse extension for Cottage Frames Ltd.
A new car showroom and offices for Sturston Motors Ltd.
Two large extensions (separate contracts) for Bowmer Bond
